Project: Stormwater Drainage Thornton Rail Bridge Upgrade

Description of works: Installation of 375mm to 525mm RCP Stormwater and associated pits

Key Features: Installation of stormwater pipe through large swamp area and installation of pipes within the rail corridor

Project Information: Installation of 375mm,450mm,525mm and 600mm Concrete storm water pipe and associated pits and scour protection.

Key Features: completing works within councils works programme, carrying out works keeping road open for all local traffic.

Project: Basement car park excavations

Project Value: $585,000.00

Project Information: RME carried out continuous pilling on all Boundaries, Bulk excavation and Haulage of 11,200m3 of clay and rock.

Key Features: Removal of 6m of Sydney sandstone with site condition set under the DA that no Hydraulic Hammering could not be undertaken due to surrounding residents and Doctors surgeries. Works were under taken with rock sawing and ripping by excavator only.

Project: 4 block sub division Lane Cove Sydney

Project Value: $620,000.00

Project information: Construction of key stone retaining walls for access road and off street parking, construction of overland flood culverts, site landscaping and all concrete works.

Project: Removal and Haulage of 30,000m3 of Coal

Project commencement: Dec 2012  completed Jan 2013

Project Value: $50,000.00

Project Information: Joint venture with JE Hogan Haulage to load and cart stockpiled coal from power station shut down on the Central Coast NSW.

Project: Central Coast Highway Upgrade from Matcham Rd to Oceanveiw Dr Wamberal

Value: $5.85 Million

Project information: RME were contracted to carry out all Bulk and detailed earthworks, Bulk Haulage, Pavement construction, Sub soil Drainage, preparation for concrete works.

Key Features: 159,000m3 cut and fill, 83,015m3 of spoil removal, 26,558m3 Imported sandstone pavement, 18,000 Tonnes Hanson’s Enviro Heavy Bound pavement.

8.23 Kms of Sub Soil Drainage, Excavations for Pilling platform through wet lands and flooding creek areas to install three cell culverts.

Key Features: Bulk Excavation of 18000m3 filling of 8500m3, all works carried out in a very environmental sensitive area and a very tight project programme.
